Career Preparation I

This course provides students with the tools, guidance, and opportunity to create and follow a career path. Students will conduct a personal exploration to determine their strengths and identify potential career pathways that align with their personality and interests. Students will hone their skills in securing a career by learning job search techniques, how to complete job applications, creating a resume, interview preparation and the development of a career portfolio. Finally students learn the importance of being responsible and productive employees by learning employability skills, workplace etiquette, conflict management, as well as valuable life skills.
