Apprencticeship 1
This course offers credit for a work-based learning experience (employment, internship, apprenticeship, etc.) of 60+ hours. Goals and career tasks are set by the student, teacher, and/or employer, though payment isn’t required. Weekly check-ins involve field study or discussions about workplace experiences. Students meet with Stride Success Coaches twice per semester, complete a Targeted Job Search, and a Gap Analysis. Proof of hours must be submitted monthly using verifiable methods like pay stubs, work verification, or electronic timesheets. This course can be repeated for credit.
