AP CHEMISTRY SEM 2

The AP Chemistry course is designed to be the equivalent of the general chemistry course taken during the first college year. Students will attain a depth of understanding of fundamentals and competence in solving chemical problems. This course is designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement Chemistry exam offered by the AP College Board. The course will follow the curriculum guidelines set forth by the AP College Board and topics will include structure of matter states of matter chemical reactions chemical kinetics and thermochemistry. Extensive lab experiences will also be provided. This class is a very academically rigorous and competitive course.
