Algebra II/Trig*
Algebra II builds on the concepts learned in Algebra I and emphasizes both the structure of algebra and the development of problem-solving skills. Students deepen their understanding of equations, inequalities, polynomial and quadratic functions, exponential functions, rational expressions, and complex numbers. The course focuses on applying algebraic concepts to real-world situations, analyzing mathematical relationships, and solving increasingly complex problems. Algebra II is designed to prepare students for advanced mathematics courses and postsecondary education through rigorous instruction aligned with state standards.
