ALGEBRA I SEM 2

This course will address the basic concepts of Algebra. The students will be working with the real number system solving and graphing multi-step equations and inequalities. The students will be introduced to linear functions their graphs and properties. The students will be introduced to statistics and probability. They will write solve and interpret systems of linear equations. They will be introduced to radicals and polynomial functions and their properties. The goals of the course are to develop proficiency with mathematical skills to expand understanding of mathematical concepts and to improve logical thinking. It is recommended that a student take Formal Geometry upon successful completion of this course.
