Algebra Concepts 1 B – H
Algebra Concepts 1 is the first year course of a two-year sequence of courses in the study of Algebra 1. It is intended to cover fewer concepts more in-depth for those students who need more reinforcement. Students who successfully complete this course will need to take Algebra Concepts 2 to complete the entire Algebra 1 course. Students will study and demonstrate knowledge of writing and solving linear equations and inequalities, functions, and formulas; understand and evaluate random processes underlying statistical experiments; make inferences and justify conclusions; and understand independent and conditional probability. Throughout this course, students will develop learning strategies, critical thinking skills, and problem solving techniques to prepare for future math courses.
