Spotlight on Dyslexia Wyoming, a virtual event will provide districts with two leadership access passes for free. Passes include access to 22 keynote presentations and 15 EdTalks with national experts discussing building a strong foundation of knowledge around dyslexia and the dyslexic brain. Training will cover a range of strategies, accommodations, interventions, and support systems to transform classroom practice and improve outcomes for students.
When selecting participants, consider creating a ‘learning menu’ to spread content learning through areas of influence within the district using a train-the-trainer model. Using this, district literacy leads can share expertise with school leaders that would influence literacy teachers, special education teachers, and MTSS teams in schools.
Complete this form by December 20. Unused passes will be distributed to districts requesting more. Unlimited access to the Spotlight on Dyslexia platform will be offered in early 2024 – May 31. By viewing the 16 Keynote webinars, one per week, and sharing knowledge gained with district colleagues, participants can make a significant impact and inspire positive change.
