The University of Wyoming Science and Mathematics Teaching Center (SMTC) offers multiple master’s and certificate programs that help educators deepen their STEM content knowledge, strengthen their institutional practice, and inspire the next generation of learners. Built around the realities of working educators, these programs are flexible and accessible to educators from all backgrounds.

Wyoming educators receive substantial tuition support and only need to cover student fees to advance their education. The programs are designed with working teachers in mind; flexible hybrid, online, and summer course schedules let you complete a graduate program without leaving the classroom. Participants will blend advanced STEM knowledge with pedagogical research to design engaging, inquiry-based investigations while collaborating with fellow educators statewide to build lasting professional partnerships.
