The first annual Wyoming Farm to School Day is on October 2. This day will celebrate Wyoming farmers and ranchers and the schools that serve locally grown products. The Wyoming Farm to School program works to bridge the gap between local producers and the school cafeterias to ensure children have healthy food, and know where it comes from.

In anticipation, Governor Mark Gordon will sign an official proclamation during a ceremony on September 18. Watch it via livestream here. Schools across the state are working with local producers to procure meat and produce for the day and are being provided with fun materials boasting Wyoming Farm to School Day.

Join the celebration on social media on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.
