The Wyoming Department of Education reminds districts to celebrate Wyoming Farm to School Day on October 8 by serving locally sourced proteins and produce to showcase the abundant agricultural products from our state.
Aprons and stickers displaying the Wyoming Farm to School logo will be sent to participating schools for staff and students to wear. Schools are encouraged to take photos of staff and students (with signed district photo releases) serving and eating meals, and submit them to bobby.lane1@wyo.gov to be shared on the WDE’s social media.
The Wyoming Farm to School Program focuses on integrating local products into school meal programs statewide.
