Educators can encourage Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students in grades 8–12 to attend a hands-on workshop designed specifically for students who are deaf/hard-of-hearing to support their transition into college, a trade program, or the workforce. Register here.
The workshops are 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- March 2 at Gillette College in Gillette.
- March 3 at Casper College in Casper.
- March 4 at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs.
- March 5 at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
Participants will meet students on the same journey and get tools to navigate college accommodations and understand individual rights in the workplace. Disability Support Services Coordinators from each college will speak, and a tour will be taken.
