The 307 Principal Leadership Academy, created by the WDE in collaboration with the UW College of Education, with the support of secondary and elementary principal associations launches this month.
The academy will kick off in Casper on July 25–26. The work will include regional in-person gatherings focused on Wyoming specific topics presented by local principals. To participate in this opportunity, register by July 19.
The unique two-year mentorship program will assist early career principals in years one to five in gaining the knowledge required to support the staff in their buildings. The program, developed by a task force of superintendents, principals, and curriculum directors, will match new school leaders with seasoned Wyoming principal mentors to help them improve coaching, communication, and relationship building skills.
