The Wyoming Department of Education invites educators and stakeholders to participate in a survey to shape the Wyoming Language and Literacy Act (SF0059) rules. Submit your input by May 8. The input received will ensure that the development of the Wyoming Language and Literacy Act rules reflects a clear vision for high-quality, coherent, and sustainable language and literacy practices across the state.
The rule development process reflects extensive and intentional stakeholder engagement across multiple phases, ensuring that input is both broad and meaningful. District leaders, members of the Superintendent’s Literacy Cabinet, and a wide range of stakeholders will contribute substantive rule suggestions, recommendations, and proposed revisions prior to the formal public comment period. This structured approach is designed to surface key themes, build alignment around priority areas, and proactively address potential concerns before formal promulgation.
