Educators can celebrate America’s upcoming 250th birthday while honoring our past, examining our present, and imagining our future at TeacherCon25, Wyoming’s inaugural statewide educator conference. The conference is seeking engaging 45-minute session proposals to feature innovative practices from Wyoming educators and nominations to recognize Wyoming’s educational heroes with awards. Proposals and award nominations are due by March 15.
Session proposals can be focused on mastering classroom technology, developing innovative teaching strategies, or creating successful community partnerships. All ideas are encouraged. Learn more and submit.

- Excellence in Civic Education Award: For teachers that inspire civic knowledge and engagement.
- Innovative Teaching Award: For educators implementing creative, effective teaching strategies.
- Community Partnership Award: For teachers or schools collaborating with local businesses.
- Outstanding Mentor Award: For educators supporting and mentoring colleagues.
- Rising Star Award: For promising new teachers showing exceptional dedication.
TeacherCon25 will take place in Laramie on August 4-5 at the UW Gateway Center. Early registration is recommended as spots are limited. This two-day professional development experience will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and an awards dinner. Join hundreds of fellow Wyoming educators for an unforgettable, hands-on, collaborative learning experience. WDE is seeking PTSB and UW credit for TeacherCon.
