The Wyoming Department of Education will offer free virtual training for educators between January 19 and February 2, 2026. The Foundational Auditory Training for Children Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing: Using the CID SPICE Curriculum workshop will help educators improve their knowledge of auditory training for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Register by January 6.
The self-paced, online workshop will include unlimited views of the 5.5-hour course, and participants can access the recording for two weeks. A certificate will be provided upon completion of the course and a survey.
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) CEUs are available for the first 25 participants. There will be a post-workshop live online follow-up at a time TBD. 0.5 PTSB credits will be offered upon completion of the follow-up workshop.
