Pre-Calculus/Trig A
This Concurrent Enrollment course through Eastern Wyoming College awards 4 college credits upon completion. Pre-Calculus combines algebra and geometry concepts to prepare students for calculus. Topics in the first semester include quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, radical, polynomial, and rational functions; matrices; and conic sections. The second semester covers infinite series, trigonometric ratios and functions, inverse trig functions, vectors, polar equations, complex numbers, and parametric equations. Emphasis is placed on connecting algebra and geometry concepts. Prerequisite: B or higher in Algebra 2 or teacher recommendation.
