The Wyoming Department of Education has developed a Fact Sheet to assist districts in implementing the 2023 Wyoming Content and Performance Standards (WYCPS) for Science, Math, Computer Science, Physical Education, Health and Safety, and Fine and Performing Arts. The information will help districts understand the impact the new standards will have on related education systems, including clarifications from the State Board of Education.
The new Chapter 10 Rules on Standards were approved by Governor Mark Gordon on July 17, 2024. Learn more about the new Standards.
Additional educator resources are available by content area on the WDE District Resource website. The documents reflect the current, reduced editions of the standards, with Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs) where there are Performance Standards. An Excel workbook with all 10 content areas can also be found as well.
