The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) invites district and school teams to register for the 2026 School Resource Personnel (SRP) Academy from June 2–3 in Casper. This statewide conference will be focused on strengthening school safety through specialized training, collaboration, and resources for school resource personnel and their partners. The SRP Academy is for administrators, school resource officers, nurses, counselors, mental health professionals, and all personnel involved in school safety and crisis response planning. Participants will learn from experts, see new products, and network with other teams from across the state.

Sessions include crisis management, trauma-informed practices, threat assessments, and behavioral interventions. Highlights include expert panel discussions, tabletop exercises, and networking opportunities with state and local partners.

Limited travel assistance, which may include lodging or mileage reimbursement, is available to support district participation. Priority will be given based on geographic location and demonstrated need. Fill out the travel assistance form to apply for support.

The WDE is accepting vendor registrations for organizations and partners with services aligned with school safety, crisis response, student wellness, mental health, or related support services. Vendor fee is $100. Space is limited. Sign up today.
