Work Experience 2B
This course provides credit for a work-based learning experience (employment, internship, apprenticeship, etc.) of 60+ hours. Goals and career tasks are set by the student, teacher, and/or employer, and payment is not required. Weekly check-ins include further study or discussions about workplace experiences. Students meet with Stride Success Coaches twice each semester, complete a Targeted Job Search, and a Gap Analysis. Monthly proof of hours worked must be submitted using verifiable methods like work verification, paystubs, or electronic timesheets. This course may be repeated for credit.
