Internships are capstone experiences for senior students that involve further study in the field or career cluster where the student has a career interest. Internships may be paid or unpaid. Students have a two-period block set up during the school day to attend the training. Goals are set cooperatively by the student, teacher, and employer. Students accepted into the program must have at least a 3.0 GPA, apply to the program with two letters of recommendation, interview with both the school internship coordinator and internship site supervisor, and complete a final project.
