Course Description: To understand the constitution and the American political process. To understand the world problem areas and current trends. To understand the working of State and local government and your responsibility in the American government system. This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of American government, the American political process and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. It is a one semester course offered primarily to senior students.
