SPANISH I SEM 2
Students will learn to express themselves in Spanish and understand the language spoken at a normal rate within the confines of the given vocabulary. They will master a basic vocabulary and will know the present tense of the indicative mood of the verbs in the given vocabulary. The students will have opportunities to practice in question-answer situations and by giving oral presentations, both in Spanish and English. In addition, the students will be exposed to Spanish and Latin American history and culture. Proficiency will be assessed using a series of assessments in the standards of interpersonal, presentational, and interpretive.
