Course Description:Course focus is to give students a good foundation in Motion, Forces, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Energy types and transfers, and Wave behavior.Course Learning Outcomes:1. Students will be able to describe examples and types of motion using vectors.2. Students will be able to describe and calculate motion using speed, velocity, and acceleration.3. Students will be able to use and describe Newton’s 3 laws of motion.4. Students will be able to define and use forces, mass, vectors, momemtum and Newton’s 3 laws of motion in real world applications.5. Students will be able to identify different types of energy and explain transfers of energy.6. Students will be able to identify and explain wave behavior in all types of matter, special emphasis will be given to the Electromagnetic Spectrum.
