Language Arts 7 B

Offered in the second semester, this course further develops students’ comprehension and analysis of informational and fictional texts, with continued emphasis on reading strategies. Students communicate using standard English in written and oral presentations. By analyzing and practicing various writing genres, they strengthen their communication skills. Media studies help students explore persuasive techniques, explicit and implied messages, and the impact of visual and auditory cues. Grammar, usage, and mechanics are reinforced, while vocabulary continues to grow through targeted strategies. Class discussions encourage engagement and build a sense of community.
