Geometry B – H
In Geometry, students will expand on their knowledge of points, segments, triangles, polygons, circles, and solid figures and focus on comparisons between these figures using surface area, volume, congruency, similarity, transformations, and coordinate geometry. Students will also demonstrate knowledge of right triangle trigonometry applications. Emphasis is placed on the description and use of inductive, deductive, and intuitive reasoning skills.Algebraic skills are reviewed and strengthened through geometric applications.
