Offered 2nd semester, Summit Earth Science taps into students’ curiosity by exploring geological history, global landforms, seas, air, and the universe. Students study geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. Topics include Earth’s minerals and rocks, interior, plate tectonics, earthquakes, volcanoes, continent movements, fossils, oceans, atmosphere, and the solar system. Assignments help students understand how scientists investigate Earth’s science and connect it to everyday life.
