Early American History 5
In this program, students begin a two-year survey of U.S. history using K12’s online lessons based on Oxford’s A History of US. They study Native American civilizations, European exploration, and the growth of the thirteen colonies. Students investigate the causes and effects of the American Revolution, explore the Constitution and early nation-building, and learn about Jacksonian democracy, westward expansion, and Manifest Destiny. The course also covers the causes and consequences of the Civil War.
