Join a free, virtual collaborative book study on Specially Designed Instruction: Increasing Success for Students with Disabilities by Anne Beninghof. The book is a comprehensive toolkit designed to help teams create an effective planning process for developing specially designed instruction, including practical examples, worksheets, and preparation tools. Register by January 31, 2025, to participate and receive a free copy of the book. A half PTSB credit and/or 7 hours STARs credit will be available for participants who read the book and attend all virtual sessions.

All virtual meetings will be held from 4–5 p.m. and are scheduled as follows:

  • February 11, 2025 – Introductory Meeting
  • February 18, 2025 – Part 1: Envisioning Specially Designed Instruction (Ch. 1–4)
  • March 4, 2025 – Part II: Planning for SDI (Ch. 5–10)
  • March 18, 2025 – Part III: Fulfilling the Promise of SDI (Ch. 11–13, and Appendix A)
