Transitioning to Life, A postsecondary transition workshop for students who are ages 14–21 and deaf or hard of hearing, will be held on November 15 from 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. at Casper College. Parents and service providers are strongly encouraged to attend as well. Register for this workshop.
Workshop highlights include creating a compelling resume, hands-on interview practice, exploring career options though virtual reality job shadowing with DVR, and more. Deaf and hard of hearing trainers will also be present to share their own experiences in the workplace.
Attendees can reserve a room at the Holiday Inn for $107 per night.
