Research indicates that fostering student well-being, connection to school, and academic engagement are critical enablers to academic and life success. The Wyoming Department of Education is seeking schools to be part of a pilot program with CharacterStrong. Participants will have the chance to test drive any of CharacterStrong’s multi-tiered solutions at no expense to gauge whether the solutions align and fit with the needs of your school system. You can pilot one or more of the following curriculum:

  • CharacterStrong Tier 1 (preK-12): PurposeFull People (preK-5th grade), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12).
  • CharacterStrong Tier 2 provides a menu of small group skill building supports and behavioral interventions that can be matched precisely to students’ needs.
  • CharacterStrong Tier 3 equips educators with the ability to provide evidence-based, personalized environmental support or skill support to students with the greatest needs.

How can this pilot benefit your school?

  • Allows you to test-drive multi-tiered solutions to get a sense of whether they fit and align with the needs of your educators and students.
  • This aligns with other school based efforts that WDE is currently focused on
