The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) is providing the following updates and reminders for summer planning by districts and educators.
- The WDE has released the 2026 WY-TOPP Math & Science Assessment Blueprints for the 2025-26 school year. Summative and Interim WY-TOPP assessments will be aligned to the 2023 Math and Science WYCPS starting in August 2025.
- The WDE is providing a DTC/BC Updates Canvas course to replace the August DTC/BC Updates webinars, register here. The course will be the information hub for all statewide assessment updates (i.e., WY-TOPP, WY-ALT, ACCESS, ALT-ACCESS, ACT, and WorkKeys) for the 2025-26 school year. This self-paced Canvas course will open on July 21. Reminders and deadlines will be provided at the start of the next school year.
- The WDE Standards & Assessment is providing the following Assessment Open House Q&A sessions to kick off the new school year:
- August 11 at 10–11 a.m.
- August 14 at 1–2 p.m.
- August 20 at 1:30–2:30 p.m. WIDA and ACT personnel will be available for vendor questions during this Open House.
- For the 2025-26 School Year, the ACT Testing Platform for Wyoming will be ACT Now.
- August 5: Fall testing invitation letters with login credentials will be sent.
- August 28 at 3:45 p.m.: Webinar 1: ACT Pre-Test Administration Training.
- September 25 at 3:45 p.m.: Webinar 2: Test Day and Post-Test Training.

- TIDE downtime will be from July 28 to August 3 to roll over the Cambium systems for the new school year.
- The new Secure Browser 18.0 will launch for WY-TOPP and WY-ALT users on July 14.
- WIDA is seeking educator panelists to participate in the ACCESS Standard Setting 2026 event. Panelists will work in 13 groups across six grade-level clusters to establish proficiency level standards for the four language domains. The ACCESS Standard Setting 2026 event takes place July 27-31, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts. More information and applications can be found on the ACCESS Standard Setting 2026 page on the WIDA website. Applications are due by September 12 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
