For spring ACT test administration, students and schools can test during one of three school-selected windows:
Window 1
- Paper Test date: March 26.
- Accommodated Paper Test dates: March 26-29 and April 1-5.
- Online Standard & Accommodated Test dates: March 26-29 and April 1-5.
Window 2
- Paper Test date: April 9.
- Accommodated Paper Test dates: April 9–12 and 15–19.
- Online Standard & Accommodated Test dates: April 9–12 and 15–19.
Window 3
- Paper Test date: April 23.
- Accommodated Paper Test dates: April 23–26, 29–30, and May 1–3.
- Online Standard & Accommodated Test dates: April 23–26, 29–30, and May 1–3.
To prepare for the spring administration, school staff should:
- Review the ACT Schedule of Events.
- Remind students to create a MyACT account.
- Review the Test Day Overview for Room Supervisors.
- Ensure correct materials for the test date and type are being used to avoid cancellation of scores.
- Display the Prohibited Device Poster.

ACT WorkKeys
The spring window for ACT WorkKeys opens April 16–May 3. To prepare school staff should:
- Review the ACT WorkKeys Schedule of Events.
- Watch Navigating Your ACT State Testing. The video includes information on saving web content as a PDF to reference during the testing cycle.
- Register and attend the training webinars listed below under Your Connection to ACT WorkKeys.
- Use the same online testing realm information received via email from ACTon August 28, 2023.
- Assign a school Test Coordinator to order paper ACT WorkKeys materials through College and Career Readiness Information System (CCRIS) between March 19 and April 12.
