Applications are being accepted for the Douvas Memorial Scholarship, established by Peter George Douvas, an immigrant from Greece. This $500 scholarship is awarded to a Wyoming student who demonstrates financial need and a strong motivation to attend college. Apply here by April 7.
Applicants will be notified of their status in May and funds awarded will be sent to the chosen Wyoming college in August.
Recipient requirements:
- Must be a high school senior or between the ages of 18 and 22.
- Must be a Wyoming resident.
- Must use the scholarship at one of Wyoming’s seven community colleges or the University of Wyoming.
- Must apply the scholarship funds towards educational expenses during the school year following the spring application.
