The Wyoming Department of Education will offer the Facilitating Career Development Course for Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers to obtain the work-based learning endorsement, which allows them to award work-based learning credit outside of their content area. Register for this training.
The course includes best practices for career advising in multiple settings and for all ages. School staff, counselors, administrators, and teachers are eligible to attend this training.
The full attendance of the orientation and closing session are required. Course completers will receive certification and be eligible to apply for the Global Career Development Facilitator Credential.
Course schedule:
- March 4: Zoom orientation.
- May 6: Zoom closing.
- Weekly check in: March 10 – May 5, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
