The WDE628 Virtual Education Vendor Teacher Collection is no longer required. The removal of this collection does not eliminate the requirement that all teachers, including vendor-employed teachers, must hold the proper certifications and endorsements for the courses they are assigned to teach. W.S.21-2-202 (a)(xxxi)(A) requires all courses to be delivered by Wyoming-certified teachers or postsecondary faculty who meet the requirements of W.S. 21-7-303(b).
Data from the WDE684 WINDS Data Collection, in conjunction with Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB) records, will be used to verify teacher assignment-endorsement matches for the virtual education vendor teachers moving forward.
