The Wyoming Department of Education is seeking public comment on the proposed rules governing the Wyoming Education Savings Account (ESA) Program. House Enrolled Act No. 53 established the program to provide families with greater flexibility in educational choice.

Wyoming’s ESA will provide $6,000 annually for students enrolled in private and home schools to support their educational expenses. Any Wyoming resident ages four and above and in pre-k through grade 12 with a household income below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines (approximately $46,800 for a family of four) are eligible to apply.

All members of the public are invited to review the proposed rules and provide comment by December 11 via this online form or by mail to:

Wyoming Department of Education
122 W 25th St,
Cheyenne, WY 82002

Applications for the 2025-26 school year will begin being accepted January 1, 2025. For more information visit this ESA page.
