Wyoming Education Fusion
Wyoming Department of Education’s (WDE) goal is to build the capacity of the state legislature, US Department of Education (USDE), districts, and institutions by providing quality customer service. The Fusion website will be WDE’s comprehensive resource tool for exchanging education data and information. Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines fusion as “a merging of diverse, distinct, or separate elements into a unified whole”. This service will provide a single location for information that includes technical assistance, data collections, state and federal reports, and lifelong career guidance. There will be individualized communities for specific groups of stakeholders that will enable them to share resources and information. The Fusion website will include an enterprise directory and identity management system providing personalized, secure, and single sign-on functionality.
It is WDE’s vision to improve capacity by providing quality customer service through the use of this web portal. It will allow a variety of stakeholders to share resources, communications, and best practices in a centralized location, improving access for our customers.
