The purpose of these training’s is to promote equity in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Through recruitment and retention of special populations this will result in successful completion of a CTE program of study in preparation for high-skill, high-wage and high-need employment.
The Wyoming Department of Education, CTE team will be offering nine (9) different SPOT Training’s (Special Populations on Target) starting in January through May 2020. Each session will be available via Canvas the entire month it is offered.

Recruitment and Retainment English Language Learners Students Enrolled in CTE.
Recruitment and Retainment Students of Military Families Enrolled in CTE.
Recruitment and Retainment Teen Parents/Pregnant Women Students Enrolled in CTE.
Recruitment and Retainment Foster Care Students enrolled in CTE.
Complete these training’s at your own convenience and when you have completed four (4) SPOT training’s you will earn .50 PTSB credit.
