Phase I & II: Assessment Literacy and Formative Assessment Development
The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) is pleased to present Phase I & II in the Professional Development series with Jan Hoegh, Marzano Research LLC. This two-day workshop is an integral part of Wyoming’s Statewide System of Support.
Phase I and II of the WDE Assessment Literacy Training provides an in-depth overview of how to ensure a high-quality standards-based learning environment. Attend this two-day training to become knowledgeable about how to prioritize standards, develop proficiency scales, and what constitutes high-quality classroom assessment practices. Jan K. Hoegh, author and associate for Marzano Resources and facilitator of the training, promises to provide practical advice, real-world examples, and answers to frequently asked questions about standards-based learning.
Districts should plan to send teams of 6-8 educators, which should include district or building leaders, instructional facilitators, and classroom teachers.
