The purpose of this meeting is to receive information from the State Construction Department and School Facilities Commission (Commission) regarding the Commission’s rules and regulations, school building capacity calculations, recommended statutory amendments to bidding amounts and requirements, the K-12 major maintenance program, and the feasibility of purchasing a charter school facility. The Committee will also consider legislation related to modifying the K-12 major maintenance program and the sale of school district real property. The Commission’s annual report and FY 2019-2020 biennium supplemental budget request will be presented.
