Dr. Thomas Sachse has 38 years of experience in education, most recently as assistant superintendent and director of curriculum and assessment for Sheridan County School District #2. Sachse also served as curriculum consultant for the Center for School Improvement, Region V BOCES in Jackson, WY, and as executive director for the California Science Project at the University of California, principal investigator for the California Science Scope, Sequence and Coordination Project, and manager for the Science and Environmental Education Unit of the California Department of Education. Sachse earned his B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Educational Psychology from University of Illinois, and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Assessment from Stanford University. He was named Wyoming Curriculum Director of the Year in 2016.
Kylie is a native of Cheyenne, WY, and graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. After graduating from UW, Kylie moved to Washington, DC to intern in Senator Barrasso’s office. After completing her internship Kylie returned to Wyoming and gained experience in a corporate law firm as a legal assistant and lobbyist. Kylie was a panelist for the Secretary of State’s Youth Voter Summit in the fall of 2016 where her panel discussed Civics Education and Youth Vote. Aside from her keen interest in politics and education, Kylie volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
