CHEYENNE  – The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will hold a one-day meeting in Cheyenne starting at 8 a.m. on July 12, 2018 at the Wyoming Community College Commission office in the Hathaway Building.

The SBE plans to take action on Charter Schools, updating SBE governance policies, Accrediting School Districts, and approving Chapters 6 rules on accreditation, Chapter 10 rules on content and performance standards, Chapter 29 rules on leader evaluation, and Chapter 31 rules on graduation requirements. The SBE will also discuss retreat locations and topics for its September meeting as well as advisory committee on accountability report. Additionally board coordinator Dr. Thomas Sachse will report on the June 2018 Joint Education Interim Committee meeting in Lander.
