Distance Education Grant 2018-19
Applications are due July 20, 2018
The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) released the 2018-19 Distance Education Grant (DEG) Request for Proposals in accordance with the Chapter 41 Virtual Education rules the beginning of June. The purpose of this grant is to develop and maintain virtual education programs in Wyoming.
A total of $200,000 will be available in the 2018-19 DEG funding cycle for eligible Wyoming public school districts, community colleges and the University of Wyoming for the development and maintenance of distance education Virtual 307 programs offered by school districts.
Funds will be awarded with priority consideration given in the following order:
- individual course design and creation;
- additional content design and creation;
- professional development, program evaluation or accreditation requirements;
- maintenance and operational needs.
