Department Publishes List of Food Program Participants

Wyoming Department of Education > News Releases > Department Publishes List of Food Program Participants

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Department of Education published today an updated list of all the participating Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) organizations in Wyoming. The CACFP reimburses these organizations for meals they serve according to program requirements. These organizations are reimbursed for children ages birth to 12 years of age. The CACFP teaches good eating habits, and assures that well-balanced, nourishing meals are served to children in these participating centers. These meals are made available to all enrolled children at no separate charge regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age.

All children who are part of a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) household are eligible to receive free meal benefits from the participating center. Foster children and head start children are eligible as well. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participants will be eligible to receive free or reduced meal benefits from the participating center depending on the participant’s income.

The Income Eligibility Guidelines below determine what the reimbursement will be for each participating center. These guidelines are in effect from July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016.
