CHEYENNE – Using the established United States Department of Education methodology, the Wyoming Department of Education’s Federal Four-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate, or “on-time” graduation rate, is 79.74% for the class of 2011 (the 2009-2010 rate was 80.42%) . Wyoming graduated 52 more students than last year. It should be noted that thirty-nine (39) of Wyoming’s forty-eight (48) districts have graduation rates above the state average; twenty-four (24) districts have graduation rates at or above eighty-five (85%) percent.
