Cheyenne- Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill announced the five districts that have been approved for federal School Improvement Grants (SIG).
A total of $3,580,001 in funds will be provided to the five districts over three years. The U.S. Department of Education recently allocated Wyoming this money to be distributed as part of the federal Title I program which provides money to districts and schools with high numbers or high percentages of low-income children.
